After much hesitation, I decided that it was time for me to post this “Behind the Scenes” video Danny captured. After all, he cut a business trip short and flew all the way from Miami just to help me out with this project.

A few weeks ago, we worked on a Beauty Photo Shoot with fabulous bridal makeup artist: Deirdre Mahon from Deeva Beauty and bridal hairstylist : Mercedes Crescimbeni from Crescimbeni Artistry . The goal to capture a Beauty Shot fit for a Diva. I was incredibly thankful to be able to work with up and coming model, Priscilla Oliveira. To say Priscilla is stunning is an understatement, and she is as sweet as she is gorgeous, and I can’t wait to see this beauty take the modeling world by a storm.
This week, we ventured into something new. We covered the New York International Bridal Market, and it was so much fun that we are thinking of covering these types of wedding related events again. I have done many things in my life, and one thing I didn’t expect to do was to venture into reporting, but don’t worry, I will gladly pass on my interviewer post to an experienced and knowledgeable interviewer or reporter, but for now, I was the only volunteer.
We interviewed five great designers and a representative from a great accessory line, Sorrelli. We are thrilled to see some of them launching their bridal lines in New York City for the first time. Thank you so much to all the designers who agreed to be interviewed. Your work is absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to see brides wearing dresses, accessories and veils from these collections.
Today was the opening of New York’s International Bridal Week, and we were thrilled to be there to document this event, and bring our lovely brides all the new trends in wedding dresses. From whimsical, to elegant ballroom gowns, to sophisticated modern styles, there is a style for every bride.
I absolutely loved Claire Pettinone’s bridal collection. Like she described it: it’s whimsical, elegant and a little vintage for the bride who’s looking for something different.
Can you tell this is my favorite of Claire Pettibone’s wedding dresses? Yes, I did take 5 pictures, but can you blame me, look at the beautiful details.
This dress by Ann Barge is to die for.

A small confession. I love rings and accessories, so I was totally smitten when I saw these accessories by Sorrelli. The necklace to the right was specially made for Showtime’s show The Tutors.
Look at this beauties; I can take them all home.

These wedding dresses by Jessica Fontaine are super chic. Jessica’s goal was to give brides the opportunity to embellish their dresses according to their style. Say you want want a bow, a brooch or crystals, you can make these dresses your own.
Mille Fiori Collection had some dreamy wedding dresses.
Allure Bridals had so many beautiful dresses that it was so hard to pick a favorite.
In the years we have been photographing weddings, we have been fortunate enough to have met amazing couples, and this wedding was no exception. I can’t begin to tell you how hospitable and wonderful Lorraine and Orson were. We feel really honored to have been there to capture their fabulous wedding.
Lorraine and Orson’s wedding day started at the Hyatt Morristown Hotel where we took wonderful photos of the bride and groom getting ready. We then headed to Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel, where Father Jude officiated a lovely and very heartfelt ceremony. Father Jude was truly amazing, not just because he paid me the best compliment ever: he didn’t even notice me during the ceremony, but he was sincerely sweet and very caring.
A few days before to the wedding, I talked to Lorraine about her wedding colors, theme and vision, and I knew this was going to be a fabulous wedding. Needless to say the wedding reception at The Westmount Country Club was nothing short of amazing. Lorraine herself designed the wedding, and she even made many of the details. Talk about high fashion and upscale DIY.
To start, just take a look at these beautiful Bagley Mischka shoes.
I think this is one of my favorite getting ready pictures.
Lorraine’s wore a gorgeous wedding dress by Paloma Blanca.

Right after the wedding ceremony, we headed to the wedding reception at The Westmount Country Club and were able to snap a few outdoors pictures before loosing the light completely.
