Ida and Giovanni met many years ago, and when we interviewed them for their Love Story, they had different versions of how they really ended up together. “She has it all wrong,” whispered Giovanni, and with her contagious smile, she would ask: Isn’t that how we met? But one thing, they are both certain, is how much they love each other, so they decided to tie the knot this October, with a beautiful Fall wedding at The Westmount Country Club. Ida comes from a big Italian and very Catholic family, Giovanni is a quiet and confident Peruvian, and their wedding was combination of cultures, tradition and even languages, guests spoke Italian, Spanish, English and Napolitano. Following Catholic tradition, they had a beautiful Catholic Ceremony at their parish of St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Linden, NJ.
But following her sense of fashion and her profession, Ida customized everything for her wedding, bubbles, menus, place cards, even the hanger for her wedding gown.
Ida looks like an Italian movie star.
I absolutely love this picture and the gesture of this little boy touching Ida’s father of his shoulder.
Ida captives everyone with that beautiful smile.
After the ceremony, we headed to Lambert Castle for some nice and relaxed wedding portraits.
Danny followed their Bentley, and I acted all paparazzi and took this picture at 65 mph.
Their first dance.
I love how our second photographer Erica captures candids.
