Over this past year, we have photographed and filmed a few arab weddings, but since our clients requested privacy, we weren’t able to post them. So when the time came up to meet Dareen and Elias for their arab wedding, I asked if it was OK to post their wedding. Their answer: please blog about us. And I couldn’t be happier… Why? First of all, because I have an amazing and handsome couple. Secondly, because Arab weddings are so much fun, with LOTS, and I mean LOTS of dancing, amazing food, and gorgeous women.
Everything was alined to make this a perfect wedding. Great weather and a beautiful sunny day. A super relaxed and happy couple, and a family who welcomed us with open arms. The best way to close our 2011 wedding season.
When we arrived to Dareen’s house, these two cute dogs welcomed us, and I could have taken them with me.
A girl after my own heart, Dareen picked a GORGEOUS wedding dress by Lazzaro, one of my favorite wedding designers.
…and it fit her like a glove.
Dareen looked absolutely stunning…
As per Arab tradition, the groom’s family escorts the bride to the ceremony, and they showered her with gifts…
While Sako and I were with my bride. Danny and Erica were already at the church. Look at this handsome boy helping out.
Father and daughter walking down the aisle. He wore wooden watches on both of his hands, which intrigues me to this day.
Look how Elias looks at Dareen… love… love.
Love this little girl’s reaction as the bride and groom drink the wine.
Careful father that hair took a long time to get done.
I had fierce competition that day, even from the little ones.
Yayyyy, they’re married.
After the wedding we had a few minutes for portraits before the sun set.
I loved these burgundy calla lilies… the colors are just so vibrant and delicious.
After their portraits, we headed to Macaluso’s for their reception where they had the most amazing cocktail hour ever.
The bride and groom received a special surprise for their grand entrance.
Let the party start.
