I got to be honest. Sitting down and writing a blog about a wedding and the experience of it is really hard for me, but in this case I am really inspired to talk about this multicultural wedding. The Bride is from Hispanic and African decent, and the groom is Greek Orthodox, and they had an amazing multicultural wedding full of details to celebrate their heritage.
I met with Emilio and Alicia in our studio to talk about their wedding. From the moment we started the conversation, I noticed the profound love this couple had and how nice they were. No doubt that Emilio is one of the funniest grooms I have worked with. He was really creative and suggested many poses for the wedding photographer and us. There are some shots in this highlight showing his energy through the engagement session video we made for them.
Alicia was also very good to work with. Very patient, even though it was difficult at times to record sound while we were doing the interviews.
The Ceremony was held at Saint Demetrius Greek Orthodox church in Jersey City, New Jersey and the reception was at the Chart House in Weehawken New Jersey.
As Alicia’s mother is from El Salvador and her dad is from Cameroon, they brought a Mariachi and an amazing Cameroonian singer Kaissa that lit up the night with her music.
The Wedding videographers shot this wedding video with a combination of DSLR cameras and High definition cameras.
Here is the highlight video of their multicultural wedding. Enjoy!
